Manchester City Airport (Barton)
Barton Airport (EGCB) provides one of the hubs for private aviation for the North-West. For Wingly pilots in the North-West, Barton tends to be an obvious homebase. Interestingly, the airport had been frequently used as a set in TV series and movies. Barton Airport (EGCB) recently opened a heliport facility to cater for the ever expanding commercial helicopter charter market. With Manchester being the home to two of the world's biggest football clubs, the heliport gets a lot of use on Manchester United and Manchester City matchdays.
