Leaving the airport we fly up the Fylde coast past Blackpool Pleasure Land and Tower. Crossing Pilling Sands we pass Heysham power station and the ‘Art Deco’ Midland Hotel on Morecambe promenade. Continuing northwards we see Warton Crag, Silverdale and Arnside. Turning westward at the Rail viaduct we cross Grange over Sands and Cartmel to reach Ulverston, where we turn south to Barrow in Furness. Returning around the bay we see Bardsea, cross the Flookburgh peninsular and then go inland to Carnf...
