Description
Take off from Akureyri airport for a flight over the west coast of Eyjafjordur towards and around the island of Hrisey. Return route over the east coast of Eyjafjordur, passing by a new man made 50 centigrade hot waterfall falling from the cliffs and straight into the ocean. Whale spotting is possible on good days as the flight passes over over the most popular whale watching routes.

Der Flug mit Hörður war super. Der Kontakt war anfangs etwas schwierig aber es hat alles super funktioniert. Es war erst überraschend, da uns vorgeschlagen wurde anstatt der geplanten Ost-Route nach Westen zu fliegen. So ist es bei Wingly. Es ist keine Reise Unternehmen mit festen Routen. Before the flight, we were able to discuss with him all the needed details and concerns, be that about weather or safety or other variables. We really appreciate this. Fantastisch, toller Flug, sehr freundlicher, kompetenter Pilot, wusste viel zu erzählen. Landung im Hochland war ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Mit Hördur als Pilot hatten wir immer ein gutes Gefühl, er vermittlte fliegerische Kompetenz. Besser geht kaum. Kann nur empfohlen werden.
