White Waltham Airfield
White Waltham Airfield (EGLM) lies directly to the West of London, close to the Royal Town of Windsor and Bracknell Forest. It was established by the eponymous De Havilland family for use as a training field. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was taught to fly at White Waltham Airfield in 1952 and in 1989 the airfield was the target of considerable media attention, playing host to one of the largest raves to be held at the time. EGLM currently hosts a flying school and long standing aero club. You will be sure to find plenty of Wingly flights from this airfield, departing to exciting locations throughout the UK.
