In addition to being an aircraft manufacturer, the Ukrainian company Antonov is also an engineering bureau founded in 1946. Antonov has particularly distinguished itself in the field of light aviation. The company is famous for its An-2 model produced in 1947 and still in service today. Recently, Antonov has produced heavy transport aircraft such as the An-124, and the world's heaviest aircraft: the An-225. Antonov is also active in other commercial areas such as aircraft design and manufacturing, air freight transportation, and research and engineering related to aerospace.
