Aeroprakt Ltd. is a Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer based in Kyiv, founded in 1991 by Yuri Yakovlev. Aeroprakt specializes in the design of light and ultralight aircraft in kit form for enthusiasts. The company was initially established as an amateur aircraft building association. It wasn't until Ukraine gained independence in 1991 that Aeroprakt was officially founded. Aeroprakt's first aircraft was the T-8, an ultralight trainer. The company took off with the Aeroprakt A-20 Vista, whose first prototype was completed in 1991. Today, the company continues its development and produces new aircraft such as the A-32 Vixxen.
