Lydd Airport
Lydd Airport (EGMD), also known as London Ashford Airport, is the home to Lydd Air, a commercial airline running frequent flights to Northern France. As with many of the airports around London, the name London Ashford Airport is slightly misleading because the airport is actually 60 miles south of the capital. EGMD finds itself at the heart of beautiful surroundings. It runs parallel to Dungeness, one of the largest shingle stretches in Europe, famous for its wildlife and conservation importance.
